  1. This may not be the place for this and it may have been addressed before, if so my apologies in advance...... There are lots of organized groups, mostly local or regional for giving SPs a voice and some sort of legal consul. Is there anything like this for the clients......as it appears to me, that in all likelihood, no matter if any amendments or tweaking is done to bill C36, the criminalizing of the purchasers of sexual services is still going to happen.....whether or not it is constitutional or not it will be in effect for awhile. I am not trying to be negative here just want to be prepared for what will happen eventually....I want to be proactive. So is there any such thing as a group for clients that is doing any thing to make our voice heard or to take actions in any type possible future legal cases? Just wondering....I also hope this isn't too confusing
  2. It is interesting how ideas come and go and then come back again. Way, Way back when the AIDS virus was a new and terrifying part of sexual life(and no one knew much about it, other than if you got it, it was a death sentence) Double bagging was fairly common....I remember it being a real bummer, couldn't feel much of anything.....but on the other hand, it definitely made me realize for the first time, that the ability to orgasm or not is more controlled by the mind than the tip of my penis.
  3. that seem's odd, if the bill doesn't pass, prostitution will become decriminalized....so nothing would change.... it is not criminalized now.....where do these CPC clowns come from?
  4. excellent question, hoping for many detailed answers....
  5. It is quite interesting to follow these threads that open up genuine fun discussions. I thought it was time to throw in my nickles worth here. I have to agree with the original post in this thread and christycurves take on the article and the subject. Sarcasm is meant to be demeaning and belittling, but thinly veiled as humor....the first thing that pops into my head when I hear or read someone being sarcastic is....you sarcastic SOB. I think there is often confusion between the various forms of "wit", the examples that Gabriella Laurence and Miss Jessica Lee use are more along the lines of being facetious, and are meant to be humorous and playful. Just an opinion.:icon_wink:
  6. Was just in last Monday for regular screening at the local SHC. I asked the nurse about the stories going around about "incurable" gonorrhea... yes it does require use of different drugs as the bug mutates, but currently in Canada, there are still drugs that do the job, for genital infections oral antibiotics are the norm, oral or anal infections are treated using injections. Some places where there is a problem, intravenous treatment is the standard practice. Also of interest is that syphilis is becoming more prevalent again.
  7. Collecting requires a real passion for something that you love or are intrigued by.......that being said I used to dabble with photography, and then started to find older cameras, I now have a few good ones from the 50's back to the 20's. My "neatest" find was a Polaroid from the 60's still with the original box with the price sticker from a local drug store where it was purchased, not a good example of craftsmanship like the earlier cameras, but a good example of the advent of technology and consumerism, also this is the camera that started a whole craze of "dirty" home photos....lol
  8. I echo this question....but would also like to take it one step further....does this "attachement" ever result in the urge to take the intimacy further than is professionally prudent. Thanks to the OP for such a great thread, I have often wished there was an anonymous advice function where anyone could put forward those queries or thoughts that normally get one stoned and exiled from the community.....discretion and etiquette are a must but sometimes definitely can result in a feeling of WTF do I do now feeling.
  9. yes mjbear the local Regina services have definitely improved....nice to see that the local ladies are getting some good exposure lately
  10. this is exactly what I was thinking as I read through this thread.....forgiving is about letting go of your anger and hurt....it is not about giving peace to someone else....that is their responsibility.... Forgiveness doesn't mean that life goes back to where it was....it doesn't mean you ever allow that person to be in the position to hurt you again...it just means you let go....
  11. the photos for both ads are from a Florida escorts website, not sure what you will find out when you arrive....but it will not be the lady in the photos
  12. Actually I am surprised that this isn't more common, I have only come across it myself once before......no biggie, but it is amazing how open and accepting these young women are. Whenever I do contact a SP for the first timeI am always open about my age.....don't need any surprised ladies as I step through the door, and to make things go well there has to be some sort of acceptance. The good thing about seeing someone who is even slightly active on the board is that you can get a sense of what the others overall life experience and personality is like.....usually older is better for me...but sometimes a younger lady can still have a maturity/experience level that can overcome a large age gap, everyone is looking for a different experience, but everyone wants a good experience.
  13. See post above....don't want this to turn into an advice column
  14. I want to thank everyone who responded, I truly appreciate those who understood the situation. This a subject that I was more interested in the behavioral aspect, and not so much seeking advice. I also do not want this thread to go on and on
  15. Like I said above, probably not a good idea, thanks
