Mulletman, you are right! And who wants to start an hour of relaxing massage when they are pissed off. Really I hate that question, since I know they will never be happy with the answer.

Have been to Unit 21 numerous times and sometimes get into that catch 22 situation. (a dilemma or difficult circumstance from which there is no escape because of mutually conflicting or dependent conditions.) When asked how much would I like to spend, I responded honestly and was greeted with a look of real horror. Why ask if you are not going to be happy with the answer? Lewis Street was amazing, fun and worth another visit. :-)

Nini is a lot of fun, so if you would like a decent massage from a funny, lively young woman, you can't go wrong.

Thanks for your excellent question:-) I like to know that I am welcome and that can happen with a smile and a genuine hug. It is difficult to imagine how you can do this every day with every customer, yet I think most can tell when you really enjoy your work or not. I really appreciate someone who wears clean comfortable clothing...something a date or girlfriend might wear. In other words, make it feel normal as opposed to staged. A classy black tshirt without bra is very much what I mean. Awesome question. Thanks

Interesting, I have been there a year or so ago. It is a hair salon with a small massage room at the back. The salon owner used to rent out the room to a massage therapist. Might be worth a try again :-)

Yes, it is a little scary on the outside..certainly not your upscale spa. Inside, you will find a genuinely friendly welcome and a decent massage.

Followed Gorilla's suggestion and visited for a Thai massage this afternoon. Agree that the massage was really very good. I asked for a combination of stretches and oil massage. Hours later, I can still feel the sensations in my body.... no kidding.

I am very happy that Kim is married and has adopted her new boundaries. I would certainly see her again and respect her new life.

Tried Googling the name and still can't find it in Ottawa. There are references to it in other cities, so maybe its a chain? Any details on location in Ottawa would be appreciated.

I agree with Whiteman and have spoken with Lesley, since her English is a little better than her friend's, who I did meet. (They share a room) It seems that Lesley is becoming a regular visitor to Ottawa, and found them friendly, polite and a great experience.

Interesting question. Here is an idea...try a snug. A snug is a partitioned seating area in some Irish pubs.There are a few at the Heart and Crown for example. Certainly private enough to snuggle. :-)

SpiralStairCase What an interesting thread. Your honesty and eloquence is appreciated. I don't pretend to understand your life or situation, but I do understand anxiety. I also understand very well the importance of trust and maybe even dependence as a result of trust. My feeling is that if you have found a service provider who can understand and respect your needs, then you are a lucky man. It says a lot about Novarella, that we are discussing her on these terms. I would also recommend Erin, who I met a few years ago and was my first "real" massage. She was so friendly and welcoming....an excellent experience. As far as Vivian is concerned, well she has to be seen to be believed. There is an excellent reason she is called breath-taking. I have not met Taylor yet, but I will and look forward to it. :-) My advice is that you meet all three.
