"Commodifications of Sexual Activity" is now a violent crime according to Wpg Police

There isn't any definition that I could find attached to this class of offence. I see only a couple of incidents under the heading of "prostitution" which presumably have to do with street activity, but 67 under this heading.

One would like to think it refers to human trafficking related offences, but without a definition its just guessing.

The report in general reads like puffery. It's hard to believe that every category of crime, and every measure of case closure and successful police intervention is improving simultaneously in a jurisdiction as big as Winnipeg.

I think someone's angling for a budget increase.
