  1. I go to bode spa and have for years. Great place, high quality products. In sandy hill
  2. Funny, this is something that has never really concerned me. I often feel a (false?) sense of security at a spa... the timing would have to be really quite perfect for them to identify anything illegal... At least, that has been my thinking up until now...
  3. There is quite a bit of stigma associated with this particular fetish... I, for one, love giving and receiving, but have a really hard time bringing it up...
  4. Happy new year everyone! I do wonder how many people, like me, put January 1 as a default birthday in order to ensure anonymity... :-)
  5. I have always wanted to enter the world of BSDM but whenever I think about it, I can't figure out what I'd be.... not sure if this makes sense, but neither the Dom nor the Sub role seems particularly natural to me. Or, let me say it better... I am attracted to the idea of both roles. As a walking typification, my line of work has me in charge a lot. As a result, there is a sort of inclination that not being in control would be a nice release for me in terms of a sexual scenario. But then again, I also find adding an erotic twist to my control... that also turns me on. My SO is not at all into any such thing (she invented vanilla)... so I am not sure if I will ever be able to explore this.
  6. I just finished making my favorite holiday food - turkey soup made from the leftovers. I just adore turkey soup - with homemade dumplings.. it's the absolute best part of the season for me!
  7. Just a quick comment re: meds.... When people actually need meds (biochemically), they don't make them feel "nothing". I hear that a lot and it kind of bugs me. The idea that people who take medication are simply zombies walking around feeling nothing is far from the truth. When I need to take meds, what it does is make me feel what other people normally feel... It doesn't make me feel nothing. Just my 2 cents.
  8. Not a fun situation - my apologies. I have to say that my thoughts immediately went to mental illness. In this industry, like any other, a certain percentage of your clients will be unstable. It's just a statistical reality. All the screening in the world will never identify all potential problems. This man may well have issues beyond his control. It's not an excuse, it's an possible explanation. And in those cases I think that the only factor at play should become your safety. Money is important but your life is far more important. Impulse control disorders are very common - much like what Sara identified as caging an animal. And there are no other symptoms - seeming normal people who behave atypically under duress. Blocking the door would trigger a more intense reaction for sure. My advice is to be thankful nothing more physical happened and chalk it up to bad luck. If I'm wrong, the guy was just not appropriate. Either way, I'm just glad you didn't get hurt. In so sorry this happened to you regardless of the ultimate cause. Not fair, not fun.
  9. I am also a north American body type with not a lot of hair but enough to remove. I go to an excellent men-only spa that waxes my shoulders, back and butt. I've been doing it for years. The pain factor is minimal (the technologies of wax and methods has improved greatly). I actually enjoy it and the feeling after is amazing. With each time it gets easier as well. I dry-shave the boys and the pubic area and that, too, is easy and painless. Feel free to PM if you want more info.
  10. Ok, ok. I have to take issue with all of the Ginsu knife slagging.... I've had mine for years and love them!!!
  11. The bus is not a safe zone to pick your nose. I see it all the time. And when they find something, they stick it under the seat. So gross.
  12. I experience exactly what you describe, about four times a year. It's not fun. I went to see my doctor and have now found a medication that helps. It doesn't take it away, but it does smooth out the edges. The brain is a complex organ and biochemically, it needs help sometimes. I would have a chat with a doc - we needn't just ride it out. Good luck, my friend. And go easy on yourself.
