SP's with PCOS

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone!

I'm curious if there are other SP's out there who have PCOS and have some good recos on how to cope with that in this field. I get severe pelvic pain at times and have no way of predicting my menstrual cycle either. This can be kind of a nuisance in this industry, as you can imagine! I'd love to get a discussion going, hear your thoughts, tips, etc.

Much love

I'm not an SP but rather a female client so I can't help you from your work perspective but I can certainly understand how much of a pain it can be to have PCOS!! My problem is booking a session without knowing if my period will start. I'm now in my late 40s and I must say that my cycles are somewhat more regular but I still have pretty bad pelvic pain. It kind of sucks!

You might have more success with this in the SP only section.

;-)

Thank you for the response! And if it's any reassurance, I have no problem at all seeing clients who are menstruating :)

Well after being brought up that fat wasnt attractive and that guys onky like skinny girls... I blame my fears of weight gain on this only disease that I have suffered from since my teen years.

I learned to cope by focusing on body positivism and acquired a unique sense of fashion.

Keeping track but also rewarding myself to new clothes every month or two.
