Holy heck. My ad title always contains my availability and the first sentence of my ad contains the donations. So...a 3 to 6 page website means what exactly? Why should i waste my time creating something that is not even taken seriously?

Yes there exceptions to every rule DB. We just wish every guy was like you. Sadly they're not. I have guys fill out my booking form and still ask me my price or worst ask what services I provide. It's illegal to ask about services.

I'm sure also that I'm not the only one when asked about prices or anything that as soon as I send them my website they disappear.

Yes having a website is a great thing for those who actually read them and follow instructions.

You may see a website as ineffective advertising, but I think it does a whole lot more. It's not just a marketing tool, it's also a screening tool. If you direct your traffic to your detailed website and a prospective client is asking questions that you have already answered on your site, is this a person you really want as a client? I know from discussions with a couple of ladies that most of these type of questions are guys who get their rocks off by wasting your time. They just want the attention. One lady I know will not even respond to such messages and automatically blacklists their number.

The website will also provide a constant online presence in the event another advertising source faces demise. At least your regular clients will know that you're still active.

There's also the fact that having a decent website/overall online presence increases one's sense of legitimacy. I've had many instances of men coming across my ad on Leolist or similar and then looking up my site/Twitter feed. After getting a sense of my personality they have been much more comfortable getting in contact to arrange a date. Just my two cents- I certainly appreciate those who actually read my FAQ! 😉

And see I use my site so much, I don't k is if I would be able to escort without it.

I use it for screening, for keeping regulars engaged with my private section, I use it and forward all my ads to my site and men have no choice but to contact me through it.

However I also mainly work with pre-booked appointment and am pretty low volume so that may be the difference for me.

While I emphasize with Emma and Meg's comments I will offer this from a client perspective. I travel several times a year. When in a new city provider references are often required.  I have found that ladies will not accept a reference from a provider who does not have a publicly available website. So they are important to clients in that way. Also I think that having a website says that you are a serious businesswoman operating a professional business. I do read them thoroughly and the information is of value to me. It makes the donation clear and introduces the lady's preferences. That saves me from wasting time contacting her if it does not seem we are compatible and thus wasting both our time. For me it will often be a deciding factor in who I contact.

I am also one of those guys that looks at a website as a positive and use it as part of my decision making process. It's not just about looking at photos either, although a nice array of photos is quite nice to look at. I read the bio which is usually more detailed than the ad. It also helps to see what her likes and dislikes are. How professional she is and her specific protocols for how she wishes an encounter to proceed. Certain contact info, her wish list if I am inclined to bring a little gift which I often do and as was pointed out, what if the other ad sites are attacked or go down. It helps you ladies to keep yourselves advertising without having to rely on outside forces.

Having said all that, I realize that those of us posting on here who read these websites and ads thoroughly are probably somewhat in the minority when it comes to men but maybe that can help in the overall screening process too. When a guy contacts you who obviously has made the effort to go about things in the proper manner, it is likely a good sign that he is a client worth having, imo. I've also always believed that a positive presence on forums like this helps in the screening process. References from other providers are also important but in my experience in the hobby, I have honestly never had to provide one even though I've offered.

I don't know if that is even a good answer to all this but I do understand and sympathize with you ladies for all the idiots out there that just don't "get it". Believe me when I say you are not alone in this. It's people in general these days. They are all like ADHD 4 yr olds. They want what they want and right now. I get it in my business as well.

It's comforting to know that this in not just an issue in our biz. Maybe it's our responsibility to foster an environment that makes 'waiting' ok. Some will always want things right now. Maybe it's ok to let them go find their 'right now' and make the people who can defer the pleasure more important. And it's ok to let it be known that we find those types of people more important and vital to our style of business... and maybe if time permits ... patiently try to convert the 'right now' crew. If it works then we've done ourselves good. If not, it's ok...it was never meant to be. 😄

I like it when I can review a ladies website before contacting her it has for me always been one element I considered when it was someone new as it added some legitimacy.

That said some of the need for the websites has disappeared with the increased usage of social media in the industry especially Twitter but also Facebook and Instagram.  These new venues give you a much better insight into someone you are considering seeing then a static website.

I know many of the ladies hate that clients don't read their sites or ads and then contact them and ask questions that were clearly answered on the site.  I am gonna suggest that some of that is simply guys making conversation as a way of getting a feel for the lady... yes I know they're are better ways lol

Unfortunately the guy who calls is only thinking about his one call or text or email where the lady faces it from many many many potential clients.

My experience has taught me that in the first interaction with most ladies you will get a better reaction if your communication is more about yourself and your interest (not sexual acts) then rates etc. Some self deprecating humour can often start the conversation on a lighter note.

Just my opinion
