For revolving ads on bp or cl, absolutely a deposit is very likely a scam.

Your experience is why we still see so many scams still out there and you are just one who actually admitted to having a problem. :(

There are many reputable and well reviewed ladies with long standing Unchanging contact information and a presence on boards and with websites who may ask for a deposit. They are worth seeing! Just do some due diligence and stick to well reviewed ladies if you are going to provide a deposit. Most will take a good reference but until you have some reputable references don't be too discouraged if a deposit is requested.

Also, scams are not just etransfers. There are many real ladies to be found who will bait n switch, change terms on arrival, or worse have someone come by and scare you off. I have experienced a few situations like that but never once from a well reviewed reputable lady.
