Who is interested in voice ads?

GUYS: Do you like to hear the ladies voice before making an appointment? Does a sexy voice help seal the deal?

LADIES: Do you wish the guys would be able to hear your voice and some important info about you before they call you? Do you wish you had more advertising options available to you?

If so we have something in the works that you all may like very much!

We have a new "voice ad system" that is being developed (Actually we started testing with it today so it's in the final development stages!).

We are planning to choose one city to test it in over a few months period and are strongly considering Ottawa as the "First" city.

The system will allow people to...

1) Browse voice ads on-line FREE

2) Browse voice ads by phone FREE (Local Phone Number)

3) Allow the ladies to place ads using a phone (Paid but very affordable)

4) Allow the ladies to edit the ads using a phone FREE

Categories will be "Escorts" "Massage" "Fetish" to start with.

NOTE FOR THE LADIES: The first few months while we work the bugs out (if any) the ads will be FREE for everyone to place ads in Ottawa. PM us for details and to be on the "SNEAK PEEK" email announcement list where you will get the numbers before the guys so that you can place ads before we announce the number publicly!

Other companies in Toronto have similar systems (Red-zone has had this for years now and it has always done very well from what I am told and another company in Toronto is trying to copy them but the system they have is really BAD!) but no one has anything in Ottawa.

The dating systems are not meant for escorts or massage ads but they do get used for this at times but guys have a hard time finding a "Pro" if that is what they are looking for on one of these "Chat Lines" plus it costs the guys money to browse and chat on the Date and Chat lines! ...

Escorts in Ottawa have very little choices for advertising options so they do use services like "Dating Lines" I think we need something much better!

How it works... What's the catch?

You call a local number (No long distance or 900 numbers - it really is free) and simply browse ads. All the ladies contact info will be in the voice ads and we may even include features for instant connections, voice mail and call back features (but that will all come at a later date to start it will just be voice ads). It costs the guys nothing and a small fee for the advertisers (This is the way it should be)

We will be installing multiple phone lines (more as the demand grows) and will be limiting the calls to 30 minutes each (at first) so that we reduce the risk of busy signals. If you have not made a choice after 30 minutes you simply get logged off with a nice "Thank you, your time limit for this call has been reached. Please call back if you wish to browse more ads" message... and you can just call back and browse more ads. This time limit is just in case all the lines are busy and someone is over using the system. Most people only listen to the first 10 seconds of a voice ad unless they are interested in hearing the full ad after the first 10 seconds so in a 30 minute time you would probably listed to over 100 ads so we feel 30 minutes is MORE then enough to limit the call time to. Do you agree?

We will also have the ads browsable on-line with a nice website front end and ads can be linked to posts on here, personal websites of the Ladies who made the ads, ads on escorts-canada or other affiliated directories and much more.

We hope to have a live system for April for our "Test City" for the ladies to start recording voice ads (but that can change if we run into any major bugs in the system - so far it looks very promising however!).

The voice ads will be available on-line before they are available by local phone number but the local access number will follow shortly after the ads are made public on-line.

If April goes well for us then the phone lines will open as early as May for people who wish to browse ads in the "Test City".

The system will be available for ALL of Canada for on-line voice ads (They are grouped by area code) the local access numbers will expand across Canada for local "phone" browsing if everything goes well in our "Test City". Calgary and Edmonton are on our list of cities where we plan to offer this service Carole! :)

great idea! the voice certainly adds to an overall impression of the person. men always say how much they love my voice :)

Thanks JoyfulC... I think the programmers are a little behind but they are telling me April 1st.. but in my experience with programmers usually the system has a few bugs to work out before it can go live... we will have to wait and see if they pull through for us on time! :)

Good news!! I tested a complete working voice ad system today!

All the prompts are being recorded in the recoding studio in the next week but the programmers did what they claimed they could do (and on time!). We still need to test it in a live working environment but I must say I am very impressed.

The only thing that did not work today was the ability to skip over a voice ad that was playing and the actual website where the voice ads will all be available online - but they told me that would all be done for when we go live for our first few tests next week.

It's coming... a little slower then I would like. I think the programmers have a few bald spots they didn't have before from the hair pulling. I hear "This is much harder then we anticipated originally" but they have not given up. The system is working but it has a few quarks we want to remove before it goes live and the admin area is still not 100% (we need that to approve ads and such). It's partially my fault as well cause I have asked them to change a few things slightly and add a few things now that it's functioning. I just want it to run as smooth as possible for the launch as some people are not very forgiving for a system like this that does not work 100%.

Todays Problem: If you hit the wrong button on your phone when browsing ads the system panics, hangs up and locks up the server. Obviously we need to get the bugs like this out before going live. If it takes an extra month or more to get it perfect we will just have to suffer a little longer.

On another note... The test server is right next to me (right now). It has two massive hot swap power supplies with 2 fans in each power supply and additional 3 fans inside plus 2 fans for the processors. The noise is rather unbearable so I am going to call it a night.
