EmilyRushton 253346 Report post Posted January 12, 2013 Good afternoon, Boy does that title say it all... Upon landing in Deer Lake on Wednesday I was greet with a billboard with that exact phrase. And it was not kidding.... I want to say Corner Brook thank you for such a lovely first visit. Your city is so picturesque and charming and that Newfoundland hospitality really does extend from one side of the island to the other. In 3 years of travelling, I have never been so fortunate to experience a power outage (which affected the entire island) and well a restaurant that everything including dessert was deep fried.
