I have seen alot, been through enough but it could always be worse. The best thing to do is to share your time and volunteer. I'll let everyone else know now too ;) Something that I've adopted many years ago is always responding to the question of, "How are you?" with a resounding "Excellent!" Too often peoples typical response is something negative (I'm tired today etc.) or at best "ho-hum". I've found that this simple response usually catches people off guard and causes them to smile. A smile sets a positive tone for the remainder of your interaction. It's really just part of putting, "What you think , you become" into action. Works for me, try it!
