Playing Downloaded Movies

yay, got two movies I discovered that windows media player will do sound only, no pic and quick time shows it playing but nothing at all.

 

Help, I am not using the corrct program I know.

Since the pic is not showing up, it means that you are missing a codec to convert the video. I suggest the k-lite basic codec pack. It should have what you are missing.

You then should be able to use windows media player .... or the included media player classic (I prefer the smaller windows media player classic uses less resources) I hope this helps.

Best bet is to use VLC Media Player. Plays pretty much everything and you don't have to worry about installing codec packages. Just Google VLC and go from there ;)

Both Roxio and Nero do a good conversion to DVD. Custom disk via TMPGEnc

Check out GOM Player.

Free, and codecs galore.

Only fault found sofar is crashing if you push it, meaning, jump from one vid to another too soon.
