Extremly quiet in PEI

What's going on? Are there any SPs here but just keeping quiet for some reason?

It would be nice to get a meet and greet up! I know people don't want others to know who they are. But we are all in the same boat, so it could be a good time!

Perhaps paying more attention to ads is helpful as well. I was recently in PEI and for days after my return received questions regarding my visit. Read the ads and visit while we are there please.

I think the overall quiet nature of the boards here is probably responsible for that, Katherine. Often you can go more than a week with no changes here, so people forget to check. It's a circular problem because no activity actually causes people to stop checking, and then when there is activity people don't notice it and SPs are likely to think that there is no local demand.

Thank you EC10, I'm not a heavy poster but I do my best to give a weeks notice which is pretty fair I think. :)

In the 3 years I've been here I've never seen more than 3-4 locals (independent) working at any given time.

Touring SPs tend to come more frequently during tourist season. This only makes sense.

If you are hard up for company you can always call the local agency its in the phone book. Other wise I'd suggest waiting out the dry spell.

And a suggestion, if you want touring ladies to come to PEI perhaps pay them a deposit.

If that was done a lady would know a potential client is serious about seeing her instead of worrying about a scheduled encounter being a last minute no show

A very good suggestion, its more expensive to go to PEI that it is to visit Ottawa.

I have been blessed in PEI with some gentlemen I can count and its worth visiting but that said there are many difficult times when people just don't bother to show.

Didn't realize there was a problem with islanders, as all I ever see are posts from off island sps complimenting PEI on their time here and how they were treated.

Personally I prefer local indy SPs... when available. I have little interest in trying to nail down an exact 1hr period with an escort from away, who may be here for a couple of days. I don't even try to book times with such SPs.

Great point roamingguy, I would be very willing to do such a thing especially if it was the difference of an sp visiting or passing.

I do enjoy local sp's from time to time, some have proved to be quite enjoyable and a good value. Although it is nice to have new sp's visit from time to time, I must admit.

The people I see are fantastic and as I previously stated I have met great clients here that I can count on.

There is however a large number of no shows and cancellations so unless you are fortunate enough to have those few to count on ladies can't return.

"other girls dont charge that much here"," I can see someone for half that price")Please realise this is insulting, I do not get here by magic carpet ride, and although I appreciate your offer to stay at your place during my stay here, no that is not a good idea and will not get you a discount on your appt!!!

Ivy that happens here as well, probably everywhere. Put an ad in the newspaper and you'd be shocked at some of the inquiries, rate "suggestions" and other comments. Where ever you have a difference in rates, low to high you'll have some men thinking that all the rates should be low. I don't know about PEI I have only visited there, not worked there. I will say I loved my visit and the Island. Halifax is notorious with cancellations and no shows and low ballers and yes a lot of those guys are cerbies:( Sadly, being a cerb member doesn't guarantee good manners or thoughtfulness.

Just to be clear not all men on PEI are like that so please don't lump us all in together please. While stating that I can see someone else for half that price is indeed insulting insinuating that all men from a specific area are the same is equally insulting!

Please understand that I am not attempting to say that we are without fault, quite the contrary actually. I fully understand the reputation my province has in the SP/hobbyist community. Hell I see it for myself on a fairly regular basis both online and in person since the day I joined Cerb years ago. That said let me make myself abundantly clear I don't agree with negotiating for deals with SPs. The donation is the donation and that is that. If you can't afford to see the lady in question...don't. I suppose the same can be true in reverse as well. It is possible that the donation amount asked by some ladies is higher than what can be sustained in this province but that is a discussion for another time and one that I am not about to get involved in.

All in all I find Cerb to be the most trustworthy and reliable of the sites available to us. The use of CL and BP although sometimes helpful are usually a train wreck, at least in my experience and opinion. I have found that once this site is discovered, by male and female alike, negativity takes a huge blow. Cerb does not eliminate the negotiating, deceit, etc. but it severely limits it spread and use. So speaking strictly for myself I would stay clear of using CL, BP and their equivalents.

A little piece of advice to the negotiators...stop it! I have long ago grown sick of hearing and reading about this problem. Plus the inevitable threads of why don't SP's come to PEI grow equally tiresome. You would almost think the two topics were related somehow...

I know some girls that charge 300.00 or even more , every girl values herself at what she feels she deserves, and no one can negotiate what a woman feels her worth is :)

I agree, that is why I charge $9.99 for 5 hours of my time. :biggrin:

Just a piece of advice - from the SP Side of things

 

Those who tend to ask for a reduced rate for the donation tend to be ignored immediately

As stevecurious said if you cant afford the rate of the donation than see someone who you can afford!

But quality is better than quantity and the girls don't just increase their rate because they want to milk you for as much as they can, for most women we treat this as a business because it is just that - and with running a business you have expenses (Ie. incall location, hotel fee, transportation costs{car insurance-gas-payments}, internet bill to maintain contact, cell phone bill to reply to the countless number of texts asking the same questions posted in the ad where you got my number from lol and than the amount of time that goes into preparing for an encounter , I don't just throw on a bra and panties and throw my hair in a ponytail.... No - I want to make you feel like this was quite possibly the best decision calling me and that you think I look so F******* hot and my hair looks incredible and my lingerie with my heels is so sexifying lol I don't want to just be the 100 craigs l!st girl you call up when you have some free time I want you to look forward to booking an appointment with me because you know that I value you choosing me, and that I want to give you the best experience during our encounter .When you show up and there is the beverage you mentioned that you like, and scented candles and whatever extras I can do to personalize the experience is what makes the reason why I charge $250.00 worth every penny :)

As long as you are happy with your donation weather it's $200 or $500 that is the only factor that matters . What other people think is quite immaterial . Those who wish to pay $100 and are happy with that fine and dandy . It's a big world and full of choices .
