Have You Ever??

Ok, here's a true story that happened to me about five years ago. One evening I stopped by my local Tim Horton's for a coffee. I went up to the counter, and the lady greeted me with a big smile and asked how I was doing. I replied "I'm fine, thanks. I'd like an extra large coffee with double cream please" (my favorite) Anyway, she leans on the counter, stares at me with this big grin and asks me once more: "How are you doing?"

At this point, I'm looking at her a bit strangely, and then she says "You don't remember me, do you?" I reply "Uh, no... not really" since I have absolutely no idea who she is. Then she says "Oh yeah, I've seen you before!" then goes to get my coffee. Now I'm intrigued... curiousity is getting the better of me, so when she comes back I say "Excuse me, but where do I know you from?" She then looks at me with a mischievious grin and replies "At your apartment... only I wasn't wearing a uniform!" Then it sort of dawns on me that she must have been a former escort who I've seen at some point in the past. I know this since she remembered personal details and portions of our conversation we had during our appointment.

This is where it got a bit embarrassing for me... The thing is, I pride myself on never forgetting a face, especially someone who I've been with in the carnal sense. Yet, she only looked vaguely familiar. In fact, if she hadn't said anything, it would have never registered. There are definitely a lot of women I'll never forget, but she wasn't one of them since my years of hobbying are largely a blur. So, I had to sheepishly pretend that I knew exactly who she was, when in reality I hadn't a clue. She definitely remembered me, though... I hope we had a good time together! *lol*

P.S. I also wasn't really expecting someone who I've seen professionally to pop up in the real world so to speak, either. I guess I was just caught off guard by it all.

Not with a SP but with a dancer I met in Ottawa. I was in Ottawa on business a couple of years ago and was relaxing after work one evenings at one of the strip clubs near the Hill. I had been in meetings all day and was having a muchly deserved brew or two. One of the girls, a very attractive blonde, came over to my table and sat down and we had a nice chat and evantually made our way to the champagne room.

In the course of our private dance, we continued our chat, and I purchased several songs from her. You could tell that she very much enjoyed her job, and it was probably one of the best experiences I've ever had (to that point) in a club.

I had a very relaxing and exciting! evening, paid the lovely lady, giving her a nice tip, and made my way back to my hotel.

The next morning, I had another high-level meeting with my federal department. I walked to the office, went through security and rode the elevator to the floor where the meeting was to be held. I walked into the outer office area and who did I see....the dancer from last night! She was the executive assistant to the man I was meeting with.

She smiled at me, greeting me good morning and said the meeting would be starting in 10 minutes.....then she winked and said "Thanks"

Probably the most memorable part of that trip!

On my return to Halifax, I had a email from her waiting for me too :) I guess she danced because she loved the attention, loved people eyes and hands on her.

Never forget that trip!

At one point, it might be difficult to remember every face that one might encounter through hobbying.

IMHO, it does not mean that the experience was bad but if there is a lady that I meet only once, there is a chance I will forget her face and name; unless the experience was out of this world. But if the experience is similar to others, then I will forget.

And if one meets let's say 20 different ladies over a certain number of years, I think it's almost certain that one wuill not remember all of them. Time also has a tendency to make us forget.

Then there are the experiences that yes, we want to forget...

I had two similar experiences. The first was almost exactly like CdnTraveler, only I was in purchasing and the dancer was a sales person that came to see me a couple of weeks later. Not only did she get the sale but I became a regular at the club she danced at.

The second was also a dancer and we met again at the doctor's office (same clinic, different doctor's) the day after I had a private "dance" with her. She was incredibly embarrassed (I do not know why she was there) so I did not pursue any conversation nor did I become a regular.

It is a small world.

call me crazy, but after working for the donations of the industry, very few ladies can go back to under $10-an hour jobs.

Maybe she is the manager, or owns that particular Tim Horton's. Just saying....

A wise old man once told me....only believe 1/2 of what you see and 1/10 of what you hear....and you should be somewhere close to the truth...and when I apply this to life, he is absolutely right.

I know of several Ladies that do Not escort full time and hold down full "regular" low pay jobs ...... What ever thaeir reason I am not sure of, but one very well reviewed Lady in particular who is very hard to see because she only sees 2 to 3 clients a month !!

She was an escort, for sure. As I mentioned, she remembered personal details etc. about the appointment, and she made a reference to the agency. Maybe she decided she didn't want to be in the industry and decided to get a regular job; who knows? I was just shocked that:

1) I couldn't remember her for the life of me

2) That she would be so brazen and basically hit on me in public while spilling the beans. What if I had been with someone? Not very discreet at all.

does nobody else find it slightly sad that she was working in a Timmy's yet was making escort-pay before-hand?

 

sorry, this may come off as rude but a Tim Hortons uniform isn't exactly something that would make me not recognize someone. Are you sure that she didn't mistaken you for someone else and perhaps was not escort-related at all? details of your place or not...perhaps she was there under un-paid circumstances.

 

regardless, like many say, its a small world....and we dont only pop up at night and never buy groceries/do laundry/run errands etc etc....sometimes a wake-up call that SPs exist in daily life is refreshing....however...

I for one know that if I had to do so, I definitely wouldn't be drawing attention to a former client (or myself for that matter) suggesting I was 'that girl' while serving coffee for min wage...yikes! if I'm seen in public in my sweat-pants by a client I often break into a mild sweat, lol

 

but saying "I'm that girl you were with....and here I am working at Timmy's, do you remember me" kinda hits an odd note. Perhaps I have an egotistical sense of pride, but I'd personally never admit to being a formal SP while working at fast-food (and coffe) chain

 

once again, this is not a digg on the lady in question, but just playing devils advocate that she may not have been who u thought she was.....just sayin

I don't see the big deal with her working at Tim's. I think, even if she still escorted, it might be an easier way to explain to friends or family how she earns her living. I don't see anything degrading about anyone out earning an honest day's pay, regardless of what they are doing.

Even a low paying job can be lucrative if most of your paycheque goes to the bank and stays there.. No having to explain where it comes from and is a reference when applying for loans, credit cards etc. It is also explains to friends and relatives where your bread and butter comes from. They don't have to know that you are living better than that paycheque can support. They will probably assume you are deep in debt like many other twenty somethings.

Exactly what I was going to say. I think some ladies perhaps find their way into the industry because they found themselves in minimum wage jobs. But if they quit their Tim's job later then where they heck are they getting all the cash for rent, car payments, feeding the baby, etc? I doubt many SP's tell all their friends and family about this side of their lives.

so a couple of months ago i saw a young gentleman who was in a relationship for awhile...he came to see me and we had an amazing time together....shortly after he left i was done work for the night and decided to go to the local bar near me...couple hours later i see the same young man walk in wih his girlfriend!!!...HOW AWKWARD!!! we looked at each other couple times but nothing was said....

what are the chances of seeing him the same day just couple hours later?!?!?!?
