kids can say and do the funniest things

For those who are lucky to spend time with or have young children, hearing their replies, explanations and watching their reactions can be very funny. Have you heard or seen anything you'd like to share? :)

Here is funny one.

My daughter was in grade one. I volunteered to go on a field trip with her class. I had a little cluster of grade one girls with me. One beside me kept staring and staring. Finally she burst out, "I'm so confused!"

"What is it?" I inquired.

She then asked, with a bit of a drawl, "Are you her MOTHER? or her GRANDmother?"

"You little twit!" I exclaimed silently inside my head.

"I am her MOTHer!" I proclaimed indignantly. "Why would you say that!"

Whereupon she added insult to injury by gesturing toward the mirror, and saying unhesitatingly, "Well.......look!"

Jeez!!! Kids!!!!

I figure her mother must have had this kid when she was about 12 years old!!

A comment I will never forget!

I had my boys aged 8 and ten out for supper with there grandfather. My father kept commenting on how cute the server that was working was. Well kids have no fear so after the server took our order and asked if we wanted anything else my eight year old asked for her number for his grampie lol. Server laughed and my father was still blushing hours after the fact.
