How to get all the anti-biotics you need.

Recommended Posts

If you feel you need something to fix a problem or protect yourself from getting a problem, that you know broad spectrum antibiotics can help you with ... but you are unable or unwilling to get tested in order to get the perscription(s).

the simple solution to this is ask to be put on acne antibiotics ... if you have no pimples tell your doc you took your friends perscription for the last 2 months (2 per day) and it cured you ... you just want more!

It cost between 70 and 140 for a months supply and can cure all antibiotic cureable STD's.

if you need more detailed info pm me.

I am not encouraging anyone to avoid seeing their doc, pls see them if you are worried but if you would not otherwise get help this may be an option for you.

p.s. it's also great to take with you when your on vacation to avoid common travelers illness.

problems with above advice....

the acne medication the person above is talking about.....is tetracycline..true it may work...but long term use will make your teeth yellow, dry your skin and make u skin sensitive to light....it will also kill all your good bacteria...(ie in your gut, which u need to digest several foods like vegetables (greens) )

u only have to worry about the following with casual sex (and safe sex will prevent alot of these) :

Bacteria:

the above may prevent gonnorrhea, chlamdyia and some forms of syhpilis....

normally doctor will give u an injection to cure you..in one shot for most of these...maybe a short course of antibiotics (penicillin or similar) so no big deal....better to just get tested...

however if u are embarrassed ....maybe better to take a broad spectrum penicillin instead of acne medication...like the one they give you for a cold....that will wipe out the above stds as well...like augmentin duo forte two tablets for 7 days......amoxocyillin may work as well....

Viruses:

it will have no affect on viruses..herpes, hiv, hepatitis B/C, hpv (warts)

much harder to get rid of....best advice for these is to protect yourself....

i think hpv (warts) can be spread through bbbj vs cbj......ie hpv can be in a womens throats...and has been linked to throat cancer for people having oral sex (still link is not totally clear).....the results is you will have warts on your dick..not pretty....hepatitis C is also a danger....hiv and hep b..less likely with unprotected oral sex

My advice take a short course of antibiotcs...penicillin for 7 days...say every 4 months or so....not long term...(normally given for bad head colds).....next time u get a cold...go see the doctor...demand antibiotics...penicillin...he will get the drift..(say u are prone to pneumonia..u have a past history)....and demand a repeat on the script to keep your supply high......u could try a walk in clinic....

but being on antibiotics all the time can screw up your system....never a good idea...periodically however is not a bad idea

I am a nurse by trade and although i agree with some of the above info from armani i think that educating yourself in disease and disease prevention independently is what everyone should be doing if they are in this industry for work or if you are interacting with service providers.

Educate yourself and practice what you learn. Antibiotics cure bacterial infections not viral infections keep that in mind...There are many types of different antibiotics available and not all of them work the same way. Just like the Flu is a virus and antibiotics cannot cure the flu....

It's important to know the difference.

armani99,

Thanks for your imput... I think you may have misread what I said and are not fully aware of what is given for pimples. I was not tring to give medical advice but simply make it easier for people to get access to broad spectrum anti-biotics.

you are correct long term use of antibiotics has side effects but I was only telling ppl how to get access to them for self treatment (which is found by doing a search) for nessary doses required to kill bacterial STD's (typically 7 to 10 days) for the type of antibiotics perscribed for pimples but used for SDT's. I was not suggesting that they go on full time antibiotics as some one with pimples would do.

You however are wrong about the type being perscribed for pimples and their effectiveness for bacterial STD's.

I was also not suggesting that they use them full time, only that to get them it would cost a one months supply.... they don't sell pimple meds by the week.

overall I think this is a good message to get out there.... if you have a problem or want to be sure get help... if your too shy or worried about tracking .... you now have other two options (never tried the cold trick for meds, never though they give them out for a common cold), I know for a fact they give the right meds for pimples as you need to cure bacterial Std's.

This is a _bad_ idea. Not just with respect to STDs, but with respect to healthcare in general.

Never EVER take an antibiotic unless prescribed by a physician who has properly tested and diagnosed your need for such. And when you have been prescribed an antibiotic, take it exactly and completely as prescribed.

This is serious stuff. STDs pale compared to some of the antibiotic resistant bugs we have emerging due to both improper prescribing and improper use of antibiotics.

..c..

(Oh, and ps, if you tell your doctor that you've been taking a friend's meds, I think your doctor has a legal obligation to ask you who gave you prescription medicine illegally and report them. Never ever share prescription medication with anyone. It's by prescription for a reason!)

ive lived in different countries in the world...some place ive lived in have

free std clinics....no health card required....so even foreigners can access it....u basically come in get tested and then get your results....they also had gay clinics for people feeling uncomfortable telling their doctor they are gay and offers more specialized care for them...its a smart idea .....something that should be started here....

btw what is the name of antibiotic u are talking about? its usually a tetracycline or something of the same class of antibiotic such as doxycylcine......i took phamarcy in my undergraduate degree as an elective

btw i noticed alot of nurses in the escorting business ....found that interesting...

There is a clinic that's basically anonymous and free (with an OHIP card) with instant results for 99% of STD's. On Clarence between Cumberland and Dalhousie. I understand were you are coming from dreamer, if you choose your method it gives you some protection better than nothing. We are all adults here, we understand the consequences. If you want to talk about dangerous side effects have a look at smoking or drinking.

ya no worries...this is just a discussion...u know what u mean

but just to clarify...DOXYCYCLINE is a tetracycline....ie just like augmentin is a penicillin

there are class names for antibiotics and then within the class there are specific names

i knew u were taking a tetracycline the most common being doxycycline....as this is commonly used for acne....i actually dont recommend it....given the side effects....

if anyone is taking this for acne i recommend tea tree gel instead...works much better for acne and safer...its hard to find in canada however...but google it...tell your friend

a broad spectrum antibiotic like penicillin is far safer and more effective then tetracycline for stds

Guest s****s*ar

i was just reading back posts and came across this i help out at a health clinic in my city i research cluster's and were they originate! and yes there r free STD clinics but be aware that if you test positive for certain ones they will want to know who you have had sexual contact with and want to notify these people. aswell as they have to report it to the health unit in that city! so it is best when dealling with a walk in clinic were u r not required to have ur health card that you do not give your real name just incase you do not want to end up a name on a cluster chart as patient zero used in a study or a public health warning!!! :-(
