I've never been to a strip club, but I feel like checking some out in the near future.

The two things that are holding me back are; I don't have buddies to go with, and I don't drink.

Are those legit reasons to feel self-conscious? I assume guys usually go with a few buddies, but maybe that's not the case. Are there many men that go by themselves?

And if I don't order alcohol will I be looked upon as a cheapskate, and will that affect my experience at the club?

I'd appreciate your advice.

To answer your questions (1) lots of single guys go. I've had great times alone and sometimes you have a good chat with another guy. I find that the ladies approach you more alone. This may or may not be what you are after. I travel a lot for my job and that is typically when I hit a SC. (2) there have been times where all I would have is a coke or red bull or coffee (for a variety of reasons). Never been called a cheapskate because the prices are usually inflated anyways, I always leave a tip for the waitress and I usually buy the girls a drink and maybe go for a dance or two.

I agree on both points. I go alone all the time, and I don't drink alcohol. The girls have never given me a hard time about either thing, and I have always had a lot of fun.

Hello Mallard,

This is funny, you know that BellaDonna Black retired and started working at a club...I really wanted to go and see her. She told me that it is difficult for a woman alone to go in, but she would talk to them and they could let me go in (I never have been in a club myself!)

Do you want to join me?

Tracie

I have been told by a number of dancers that it is easier to approach a guy when he is alone than when he is with a number of friends, so many dancers prefer that. In other words, dont worry about it.

My only mistake was to walk in and ask the shooter girl for a drink not realizing there were separate cocktail waitresses. Also, its good form to offer a drink to a dancer that is sitting with you. And it takes a bit of practice, but its perfectly acceptable to tell a dancer that comes up to you that you appreciate her stopping by, but you wont be going for dances for a while. If you are polite and respectful, you are almost guaranteed to have a great time.

Its tough for gals to get in without a male escort (no pun intended ... smile). The theory is that if a woman shows up without a guy that she is there to find her husband or boyfriend or otherwise cause trouble.

I was going to strip bars between 1998 to 2008 and almost always by myself (and when I was not by myself I was with a young lady friend). That is a big advantage as girls will sit with you and chat when you are by yourself and less likely for that to happen if you are with a group of men. That was why I made so many friends in those years. More than anyone could make in a lifetime lol.

When I go to a strip bar I want to be with girls and flirt with girls, buy them drink and have dinner with my favorite dancer (at Barbs) not to chat with guys lol. So, do not worry. It is normal to go to strip bars by yourself (it is different with going to a dance bar or movie that you should be with a buddy lol).

Also do not worry about not ordering alcohol. I usually drink wine the first half but because I have to drive back, I always order non-alcoholic beverages in the second half of my stay and the waitresses and dancers all appreciate that you are a responsible guy lol.

One note though. If you don't wish to spend money (buy ladies drinks or take them to CRs) and just prefer to be in a strip bar environment then go with a group of people OR sit next to the stage, if you are by yourself. Frankly if I don't have money I don't go to an SC as I find it a torture to see all those beautiful ladies but unable to contact dance them.

There are times where it makes sense to go with buddies ... but then there are times where you just got to get out. If you're shy or somewhat intimidated by being around scantily clad beauties then by all means find a buddy to go with. But remember - your buddy will likely disappear for a few dances and you'll have to face the music alone.

No one will judge you based on what you drink - not everyone consumes alcohol. The prices of non-alcoholic beverages in these places are inflated anyways.

Your experience at the club really depends on you and what you are after. If all you want is to sit stageside, have a few drinks and leave - great. If you want to have a few dances in private, great. If you want to see a few different ladies, share a drink or two with them and just chat, that happens too. Depends what you want.

Now for a shameless plug. Jazy on here is also an exotic dancer and a very nice person who is down to earth and will make you feel relaxed and comfortable. Good luck in your travels.

Like many have stated, I always go by myself. And I'm a non drinker...I think that most dancers (the good ones anyway) prefer a sober man...sober men tend to be more respectful than the alternative.

I have zero interest in chatting with other guys. I've had this happen a couple of times (in hundreds of visits), but it's easy to escape/ignore them. I almost always go by myself, and rarely drink alcohol. The dancers don't care about the first thing as you don't have to cut your time in the CR short so you can get back to your buddies, and the waitresses don't care about the second one as long as you tip them.

I prefer going alone, you don't have to wait around for your buddies in the CR or they don't have to wait for you.

But the price of pop or a soft drink is about 50 cents less than a beer in a club.
