SP Friendly Hotels in Ottawa

Hi I know there have been many posts here on this topic , however wanted to start one post where there are sufficient answers so that we can make the right choice.

Which are the hotels in Ottawa Downtown which have the following features :-

1. No Key Card Access to Elevator

2. Entry Discrete by passing the Front Desk

3. No lockdown during late evenings

4. Discrete private apartments

5. Allow guests.

All information will be appreciated.

The Minto suites has 1-3 and 5 of those features. If you want something discrete I think this would be your best option, plus the staff are very professional (in other words, they are not nosy like some other hotel staff have been in my experience).

I'm not sure of any place that offers private apartments. Are you looking for a penthouse of some kind? Maybe check Hilton Lac Leamy...

*actually, just to edit this post. Hilton lac leamy is the best place if you want a discrete location. The elevators are located right in front of the entrance, whilst the front desk is around the corner. Plus they have executive apartment-style suites. Bonne chance!

Not trying to rude or a smart ass here, but, if your a hobbiest, why are you asking about Sp friendly hotels?

Great question... but an even better one is why are you asking this again? All of the threads about SP friendly hotels in Ottawa, answer all of your questions and more. They are very explicit and detailed. Do a search and you will be rewarded. There is lots of great info on those threads from many folks with lots of experience in the "scene" in Ottawa.

I think a SP friendly hotel will also benifit hobbiest.

Now that was just from the 1st four pages of lots of pages by typing in "Ottawa Hotels" in the above search button. Info is always there with a little time and effort. ;)

Delta Hotels has bought the Marriott (old Skyline hotel) at Queen\Lyon. They will start renovations in the new year. The ramp on Lyon street will be gone.
