Club 61 - Latina

I have not been to this club in a few years but a body of mine went recently and mentioned that he had good mileage particularly with a blond Cuban but could not remember her name. Any one knows her name? How is it over there. I have been told by others that it is now a sorry place not well maintained etc. Any comments?

Club is pretty run down. Right out of the late 70's and prob the last time renovated. The lady your friend saw was Daniella pretty fun but YMMV. I had a good time. She is in Cuba for the holidays some other not bad ladies but a bit hit and miss.

I find the place totally entertaining.. Real Salt of the Earth kinda ppl workin the bar there.

If you added up everyones teeth in the bar, you would probably get a full set.. On a good night..LOL

You walk in and notice the 70s porn playing on tvs that are from the 80s...

No champagne rooms.. No DJ.. the ladies pop on some tunes on the jukebox..

The mirrors on the back of the stage look like they have never been washed.. but the place has something about it that is totally fun..

I agree...I have gone there on many occasions just for the ambiance and the no hustle no shit atmosphere. the girls are fun (if not the best looking), but there are gems from time to time. YMMV with all of them, but I find most are more fun if your a repeat customer, and if anything, at least you can watch decent porn (all anal all the time for some reason). The waitress will even give you a dance if your so inclined. Either way im always down for a trip to 61.

I've had some fun times there in the past, but it is not like any other strip club I've ever been to.

It is truly a very special place but unfortunately, not in a good sense for me.

I have not been in about 3 years but from what I read above, nothing has changed!

I wonder if the cover charge is still a buck?

The funniest thing is not having a DJ; the lady finishes her dance when the song ends, then walks backstage to put a new song.

But in the meanwhile, it's a dead silence in the place!

When we went there, when the silence part started, my friends and I started a conversation about income tax, a documentary we saw on TV or any goofy subject of conversation. It was for fun!

No Ceigo I do not know the schedule of all the ladies. Daniella mentioned she was leaving the next day and if I wanted to come back that was the day for a few weeks.

and the cover is $2 which is the most ridiculous thing for the club.

BTW I didnt want to leave impression I didn't like the club. It is quirky (run down, porn movies, no DJ other points mentioned about) but I always find one interesting person to spend time with and go around once a month to chill out.

Well, I did make a visit to this club on Saturday night and there were more ladies than men. A very slow saturday night but I did meet Daniela. Nive looking Cuban lady but very fit ( read 30 some +) and well maintained .... she does exercise and it shows.... very nice curves and very sensuous lady. The accent just killed me.... I do have a cultural soft spot. So we did have plenty of time to engage in a conversation and I was very happy with her lacive dances in the CL. As usual YMMV but I was not looking for extras and did not ask for any. I might repeat the experience as I did not felt rushed or harassed.

Club 61 is likely to close this fall and it will be replaced by another restaurant. The owners have sold and are retiring. For many of the girls it will be hard to get hired at any other place in Ottawa. I've had some good times there and lots of extra cirricular activities. Real salt of the earth place and light on the fake boobs.
