iPhone question

I use an iPod dock during my massage sessions. I currently have an iphone and an ipod touch, which seems kind of pointless to me. The reason I don't use my iphone for my music is because when someone calls, the music is interrupted. I don't want the massage session interupted. Is there a way to prevent this? Even if the ringer is turned off, it still stops the music.

Just turn the phone part off by putting it in airplane mode.

You beat me to it, outforfun. Airplane mode "shuts down" all transmissions while on, i.e. texting, e-mails, internet access etc, not just the phone part.
