Funny... no one ever brings this up... and I see threads on other escort discussion sites filled with Steven Harper fans telling everyone they want to vote for Harper. One of his most controversial topics is that he promises to "end legalized prostitution".... and it shocks me that people who enjoy this right in canada are voting for him as they know he will fight to take this right away from them!? I personally hate them all, I don't think anyone currently running is a good candidate. Does no one agree with me on this?

I agree with you... nobody is a good choice, but the Liberals simply have to go. I want Harper to prove he's not the libertarian/small government conservative he has claimed to be. Same thing 'ol Bushy did. Conservative Republican my ass.

As for making prostitution illegal, stopping gay marriage, doing anything about abortion etc..., I simply don't believe it. It's Conservative chatter to court the religious right vote & is very useful for fundraising issues. They'll never change these things because they're very useful tools.

I do believe the Conservatives will stop the national daycare program, which I believe must be ended before it starts. It'll turn into an unsustainable "entitlement" that, like Medicare, will never be able to be funded to it's supposed promise. My taxes being flushed down the toilet, for the next 65-70 years, is more important than an empty threat to end "legalised prostitution".

funny thing here is that we now have little steven in power. and what have we got. NOTHING. I agree with we needed a change. but martin was better than harper. but give martin a minority. and get a real leader for the conservatives. all this has done is give the liberals a chance to make the first real change. who knows maybe we get scott brison. with belinda as deputy. now we have a strog liberal party agian. and no ties to the americans
