Advice needed for "working" safely in the US

Hi guys and gals!

I am Canadian and would like to have a little "working holiday" in the US but I am totally ignorant of US laws. I'm afraid of doing something that will get me arrested. Any advice to avoid that or to keep myself safe while working down there would be greatly appreciated!

All pleasure is 100% illegal in the U.S. other then the terrible situation in brothels only legal in some rural counties of Nevada where the government rules and the house is your pimp.

In many cities vice cops set up stings off Internet boards to entrap private providers. There is a new Federal trafficking law that is giving local vice cops funding - private consenting adult sexwork is included in the trafficking definition. It if forced than it is extreme trafficking.

One of the first big busts was Aussie Amber. Her husband helped answer phones and set up appts. He now faces 10 years in Federal prison for trafficking for his help.

The Bush Dept of Juctice is on a moral crusade - going after hotels that have porn options to view as indecent and anything to do with private consenting adult sexual interests. Swing clubs are now illegal in many cities, and we are ruled by the religious right that knows what is best for us. That is why I enjoy frequent trips to Canada to enjoy your freedoms that we do not have in "the land of the free" , The U.S.
