I lost a gem of a place in hull when the federalies shut it down 6-7 months ago and am still looking. In short I'm looking for a good MP who also offers FS; I'd prefer staying away from asians as these places tend to be the focus of the coppers given most of the girls are in the country illegaly.

As far as I know, the idea that most Asian MP girls are illegal is totally not true. In fact, I recall that a year or two ago the cops and Border Services did a big sweep in BC expecting to send back a lot of the women. It turned out that most of them were in the country legally.

Your best bet is to stick with an Independent SP. Stay away from the parlors as they remain frequent haunts for LE. Not only are the Asian girls often illegal but so are many Eastern European and Russian girls.

bluenose, not that I have any stats to support this but ever since the cops busted the Asian parlors in Hull (note they did not bust the non-Asian ones) they have not re-opened this would lead me to believe some were in the country illegally. As well one must question why the girls are moved from one city to the next every other week, most cannot speak English very well and if you get to speaking to them all live at the parlor itself... If it was that simple for the cops to bust down parlors AAA would be closed years ago, the illegals must be an easy way in for them.

The article is not very positive about the SP business, but then this sounds like a very sleazy, exploitative aspect of it.

Why anyone would go to the mutually degrading kinds of setups described here when there are a good range of independent escorts available who chose to do this work and do it in a respectable and safe way is kind of puzzling.

On the subject of asians and their legal standing, the most recent AMP busts in Ottawa netted exactly ZERO immigration violations, according to the newspaper reports. I'm not sure about the busts in Hull last year but if there were any illegal aliens involved it was a very small number.

And yes, several of the places busted in Hull are once again open, contrary to an earlier post. Most of the girls at AMPs who "live" there are visiting, usually from Toronto and do that as they are here to make some quick $$$ and not to set up residence here. It doesn't mean they're illegal, they just live elsewhere. And that also explains why they some of them rotate so often.

I've gotten to know several girls from AMPs very well over the years, well enough to know they are here legally. I've even seen some of their landed immigrant cards. I haven't met them all by any means but I'm talking of a fair sampling. I have met a couple here illegaly so there is at least a small number.

While none of us know for certain, from my experience I'd say Bluenose thoughts are closer to reality here then some of the others. My take, YMMV.

Actually they busted lots of non-Asian MPs in Gatineau a couple of years ago (most of the girls were French Canadian). The Asian MPs filled the void. I haven't heard of any of the girls busted recently having immigration problems.

You may be right that the media hype this negative aspect of the business to be much more what has been proven in court. But I think it happens more often that we think. (See links below.)

Bottom line, much rarer (if ever) for an independent SP to be accused of being an illegal immigrant working in under duress in a whore-house for a bunch of pimps.

I'm only speculating, but I would imagine that the frequency of this will vary by location as well. I would imagine that the major ports (i.e. Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal) are going to have more problems with illegal immigrants than we would here in Ottawa.

I'd also hypothesize that this is a bigger problem in the US than it is here in Canada. In the US, most of the sex trade is illegal already, so what's a little more illegality? In Canada, you can make an "honest living", so why jeopardize it?

Those are my guesses, anyway... :)
